School Counselors along with key stakeholders of Chemawa Middle School are dedicated to working together and building a supportive, inclusive and safe environment that empowers learners with academic, career and personal/social skills, confidence, and respect for individual differences so that all students positively impact their community.
The Chemawa Middle School Counseling Department Vision Statement
The students at Chemawa Middle School are culturally responsible contributing members of their community with a productive mindset, resiliency and a strong sense of self and others, well prepared to meet the challenges and high expectations of the 21st century. All students participate in a comprehensive high-quality academic, college and career and social/emotional school counseling curriculum to develop the necessary skills to successfully transition to high school, participate in post secondary education, and be career ready. As successful, life-long learners and productive citizens, our students achieve their fullest potential, making a positive difference in our school and community.
